One of our last steps with Purge 2008 was finding homes for several pieces of furniture. After asking around in our local community to find homes, we still had several things left. Not having a truck limited what we could do.
I contacted Vietnam Veterans of America. They came by and took everything we needed to get rid of (check to see what they need), including the larger pieces of furniture, right from my doorstop.
[sigh] what a relief!
