And so it goes . . . .
Time that is.
Erik is back from another trip. This time to Italy. Maybe he'll post some pictures with some of his stories on his forgotten blog. He had a great time working and learning about Italy. Venice was a highlight.
Since he has been back, he has been busy. He fixed the sprinkler system. Gave Sheila a "Girl Out of Town" respite (she went and traveled with her sister and parents to Central Texas this past weekend). Helped with the final repair coordination of our car. It died a painful and expensive death. The upside is that it should run for a long, long time; at least we told it to as we explained to The Car that we chose to resurrect it's life rather than buying a new one (by a narrow margin).
We have more news on Everett's seizures. Not great news, but more news. I'll post soon on that.
Merritt is really doing well learning new words. I think that having the speech therapist really helps Sheila help him, which is what it is all about at his age.
We now have the opportunity to redo the garden (it was demolished when we had to fix the sprinkler system).
A leprecaun came and visited us on St.Patrick's Day. That visit resulted in Everett planning for several days on how to catch the green fairy. Some of the ideas were actually pretty good. Maybe a future crime solver, criminal catcher! He turned many things green and left lots of gold for us to find.
This week, we SHOUT and Celebrate Erik's 40th Birthday. We've been having a great time figuring out surprises, gifts, and treats. Today, we delivered 40 cupcakes.
