The parents were able to go to dinner WITHOUT the children (Thanks, Meg!) We dined at Zaytinya, most assuredly the splurge of the summer. The mushrooms, the octopus, the eggplant, the DESSERT!
Mother Nature, not to be outdone by the human chef, provided peaches, corn, apples, and honey when we went fruit picking Hartland Orchard. Peaches were the fruit of the day and were deliciously perfect right off the tree, as Everett discovered.
We finished off the weekend with peach cobbler and said goodbye to our good friends and family the Moores.
